Changes to Export Regulations Webinar - January 2015 - Download Only

Price: $125.00

Our “Changes in Export Regulations” webinar will focus on export reform, but will also include information on the Russian sanctions, the Cuban sanctions, changes that went into effect regarding the Foreign Trade Regulations, crude oil guidance and the export C-TPAT expectations.

This webinar will discuss many of the that have gone into effect since October 2013 and that will be going into effect in the coming months. These changes have affected the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Munitions List (USML) as well as the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the Commerce Control List (CCL). Many of the items currently on the USML will migrate to the CCL. Understanding whether your products meet the new definition will determine whether you will continue to get a license from the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) or the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). We will also briefly discuss the possible use of license exceptions that may be available. A key component of these changes is the new definition of "specially designed," which we will also review and clarify.

This download includes a PDF copy of the PowerPoint presentation and a recording of the webinar presented on January 15, 2015.
